Re: High on crack
its MS - 70. did you check the population reports for graded 96 SAEs which are cert ms-70? Sounds high to me, I wouldnt pay that, but I havent check the stats-- maybe it's not so crazy?
whats more is, even if there are reports of such and such item selling for a certain price, temporary spikes in demand-- and short term declines in supply -- can lead to huge price spikes. I take it that is part of the numismatics game. |
Re: High on crack
OR if you send him 2999 for an ounce of silver, however pretty it may be, he WILL have the fiat to GET high on crack !

Never heard of ISGgrading or however its called
|
Re: High on crack
ISG is newer than the others, I think it goes PGS -NGC -Then IGS - when looking a while ago PGS I think that's what it is gets the most money!!!

Re: High on crack
According to PCGS price guide, there are (zero) 1996 MS70 business strikes, so they don't even give a retail value. BEWARE!
NGC, I believe, has graded a few MS70. SGS has probably graded thousands at MS70 IGS? I have no clue. The big three grading companies are PCGS, NGC, and ANACS. |
Re: High on crack
what about ANACS? Or something like that. how do you rate that service?

ANACs was one of the first grading companies. I think they are reliable, and would trust their grade. I have a few coins graded by them. I would not trust IGS. Knock of atleast 5 grading points and pay accordingly. THe Great Ag |
